360° Long-range Drone Detection system

360° Long-range Drone Detection system is a high-resolution electro-optical sensing system purpose-built for counter-drone (C-UAS) and airspace security operations. As the proliferation of small, low-cost unmanned aerial systems introduces new threats to military bases, critical infrastructure, and sensitive sites, Tori delivers long-range, high-fidelity optical sensing to detect and identify rogue drones before they reach defended areas.

Designed for persistent surveillance, Tori continuously monitors skylines and airspace from kilometers away, providing early warning and precise situational awareness. The system combines visible and infrared sensing to enable reliable operation across lighting and environmental conditions, supporting day-and-night

counter-UAS missions. Systems utilising other sensing modalities, such as RF detection, radar, or acoustic sensors could be interfaced with Tori, as part of a broader, layered counter-UAS sensing framework.

The system architecture consists of a static base housing processing, power, and control electronics, paired with a rotating optical head featuring a space-grade, all-reflective Three-Mirror Anastigmat (TMA) telescope. This common-aperture optical design supports multiple wavelengths while delivering high-resolution imagery at long standoff ranges. Tori generates gigapixel-scale data per scan and applies real-time detection, classification, and tracking algorithms, producing AI-ready intelligence for modern air defense and security systems.
